It is located at the southern end of the region, on soft terrain and rolling in what is considered the ramp of the Sierra Madrileña. At the end of the term you can see the mountains of the Sierra of Morcuera and the foothills of the Sierra de La Cabrera. The vegetal landscape is made up of meadows and pastures of holm oaks and Oaks. The term runs a stream called Garguena who was born in the vicinity of the term de Bustarviejo and meets Guadalix Brook a short distance from this town. Between the plaza de San Bartolomé and the church square, is the Fountain Square featuring old trees which give shade to a source of fine waters, that the neighbors were supplied for regular use until not too long ago and that, According to tradition, is the origin of the village.
