    Madarcos

    Madarcos is a small municipality situated in the foothills of Somosierra, that stands out in particular for its traditional architecture. The town has not undergone significant changes throughout history and keeps various elements of its mainly traditional livestock. Traditional building is on one level, gable and cover with masonry walls made of granite and shale rock. Among the buildings are spaces of orchards and stone closed pens. With respect to their religious heritage the municipality has the parish church of Santa Ana, which was built in the 17TH century.
